Position Summary:
The Account Manager will generate sales revenue from software licenses, maintenance and product related services for the Benelux region. This will be achieved by researching prospect and existing customer accounts and using business development techniques and field-based sales activities.

Primary Roles / Responsibilities:
• Achieve sales quotas for allocated territory by quarter.
• Develop a sales strategy in the allocated territory with a target prospect list, a regional sales plan, and a channel sales plan.
• Develop marketing plans with the marketing team to drive revenue growth.
• Manage the assigned territory by providing sales call reports, territory analysis and accurate data within the sales and marketing database, accurate forecasting and territory insight.
• Being a trusted advisor to the customer by understanding their existing and future IT roadmap to drive solutions within the marketplace.
• Promote, develop prospects and grow customer satisfaction within the solution.
• Arrange and conduct product demonstrations and presentations in conjunction with pre-sales consultants.
• Build knowledge of customers within allocated territory.

Experience/Skills required:
• Approximately 5 years previous B2B Sales experience gained within software or IT sales organisation preferably in Application Development.
• Fluency in Dutch and English languages are essential. Additional spoken languages would be an advantage.
• Networking and lead generation.
• Demonstrable track record of achieving sales targets.
• Commercially astute with proven track record.
• New business sales-focus.
• Ability to understand the "bigger picture" and the business drivers around IT.
• Affinity with Software Development in general, Web and Mobile in particular.
• Degree educated or equivalent.
• Knowledge of using CRM systems (salesforce.com preferable).


Candidates are already in possession of a work permit that allows them to work in the Netherlands, if applicable.
