Uniface is extending its development and deployment capabilities in the product. For this reason, we are looking for an experienced Technical Support Analyst for our Uniface Customer Support team. We are looking for a positive and assertive team player who has a strong desire to succeed in a technically challenging, team and customer oriented environment.
What you are going to do?
As a Support Analyst you will work with the Uniface customers, making sure they continue to get value out of their investment in the product. You will participate in the Uniface community, helping out and advising on best ways of using the Uniface development environment and deploying the Uniface runtime environment in often complex environments. You will keep track and maintain the support records in accordance with company processes and procedures. You will be expected to analyze Uniface product issues thoroughly before handing them over to Product Development for resolution.
As well as working with our customers, you will be interacting with Development staff, discussing possible ways of resolution of issues, prepare test-sets, carry out tests.
What are we looking for?
• Bachelor or higher degree in computer science
• Proven examples of high level communication skills
• Experience in a software development environment
• Experience with Windows and some experience with Linux/Unix
• Experience with relational databases (MSSql, Oracle)
• Knowledge of web services
• Experience in environment configuration
• Good level of English and another language would be an advantage
